…each image is a process….I build up multiple layers of  my photos, while adding "bits of stuff" , (plastic, wood, rusted bits, threads, etc.) that I collected  and also using residue form old artworks to create the assemblage.  When I'm happy with the look of the collage, I  take several digital scans of the artwork, then I transfer the  image to photo paper...I like to work large-scale so images range between 30 x 60" and larger.  At times the works are manipulated again to make a one of series.

WHAT REMAINS SERIES….the Images begin to form with found items that I collect along the beaches…twine, plastic, bits of rusted metal, decaying wood & bones etc. I manipulate the items, often leaving them on site…below some works from a recidency is did in Iceland.
